Winning Directions Mail Aids Sherrod Brown Victory in Ohio
Winning Directions' mail has once again proven itself effective, playing a key roll in the election of Sherrod Brown as Ohio's newest Senator. Brown defeated incumbent Republican Mike DeWine, a key race in the Democrats' historic takeover of Congress in the 2006 midterm election.
Winning Directions' statewide mailings on behalf of the Ohio Democratic Party highlighted DeWine's repeated betrayals of Ohio working families, as well as his loyalty to the corporate special interests that fund his campaigns. WD's work also helped craft the image of Sherrod Brown, along with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ted Strickland, as the choice to lead Ohio in the right direction.
